I seem to remember we had this discussion a few years back but I am thinking about non destructive( no cutting pies) way of adding a water filter to the kitchen tap. Anyone using such a device?

A cheap and cheerful one for years, something like this....

Does what it says, reduces chlorine odour, limescale, tea scum.

You can get better quality self cutting taps/valves if the ones included in filter kits don't fill you with confidence...

Thanks for that, cheaper than I thought they would be. I was expecting to lay out a couple of hundred. I would rather have one without a seperate tap, can't drill into the worktop. I will have a look at the plumbing this weekend then nip down to screwfix.
