What are you eating tonight?

Just finished a huge bowl of home made roasted red pepper and carrot soup, along with some hefty slices of home made bread. After a morning of chopping, splitting and stacking firewood it was needed! But now I have eaten so much I really can't be bothered doing any more.

Tonight shall be a nice and simple affair, gammon steaks, roast potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli and some cheese sauce. Hopefully the wife will remember to pick up the lemon cheesecake for me.
 
It's a good questin and one I've been contemplating for much of the afternoon.

Right now I'm thinking Toulouse Sausage with puy lentils and carrots cooked long and slow in a rich stock. Marry that up to a robust Languedoc Red and I think we are in business....
