Well, fellow denizens of the room, the last two months have been marred by loss.
I'm just back from hopefully the last funeral for a while where we sung Whittier. Suffice to say the meager collection of mourners (elderly and reclusive neighbour) couldn't do it justice with perhaps five audible voices (singing is alien to so many these days, alas).
Talking last night to another elderly neighbour, the subject of love songs came up and I played to her Stacey Kent's Ice Hotel (my favourite) and I include this for your delectation.
