Nice one - huge fan of Ry Cooder. He got me into the whole Americana thing. Remember seeing him with David Lindley at Manchester Apollo around 1990 for what was quite an intimate gig. Coincidentally splashed out for a nice vinyl remaster of Paradise & Lunch this week - probably my favourite album of his.

Sto Perigiali (On the Seashore) written by Mikis Theodorakis and sung by Maria Farantouri. This song makes me so nostalgic for Greece. When I left my native Israel in 1990 my parents and I lived in Thessaloniki, Greece for 15 years. This song brings tears to my eyes!
