What are you listening to?

The truth is that I learned English mainly by listening to rock music. I could say it was the Rolling Stones, the Who, Pink Floyd or the Cure, but it was mostly AC/DC; thus my vocabulary is pretty much limited to things related to birds, booze or bar fights (and incidentally puke)...

Lots of music to reflect the air of uncertainty that surrounds work at the moment. So, there's been lots of thrash metal. I was just about to post the song I was listening to (Pantera - Walk), but it finished and the next song on my play list came on. Totally different, but a great song. I give you Night Ranger.

Probably a necessary (and welcome) lowering of the tempo and tension.

Funnily enough was supposed to learn my fate today.....didn't happen though...always tomorrow!

Thankfully it's not my own fate at stake here, but many of my colleagues. We'll naturally be impacted as a result, but it doesn't change the atmosphere sadly, which is much like a morgue.

I find music a very cathartic thing, it's like a form of therapy, an outlet. I would like to crank up my guitars tonight, alas I've got no studio time booked to do it properly, and my home windows won't take the amp being cranked :)
