What are you reading at the moment?

I have finished the Aubrey-Maturin series, its been a great voyage. I will no doubt revisit in the future.
Time to start on another one.....

Quite easy reads...relatively fast paced in terms of style considering what the TV series is like. There are content differences from the TV series aswell. In the books Lewis is the older one and Morse drives a Lancia. It hard not to picture them as the TV characters though.

The last Tiffany Aching novel by Terry Pratchett. It is a fitting testament, even if it is clear from reading that it must have been a huge effort to write.

Can't beat a bit of Terry Pratchet for an easy amusing read.
Didn't yet manage to read any pratchett, but its on my list.

Currently reading the 'World of tiers' books by Philip Jose Farmer.

Maybe I will get back to the 'riverworld' books after this series.

Haven't read any scifi/fantasy in years, it is a nice change to the crime/thrillers of late.

Just finished 'Socks, the rule book' by 'The London Sock Club' members 001 and 002. A very witty and informative little book on...well....the rules for wearing socks. Makes you want to go out and purchase some decent hosiery. So I did

Halfway through 'A Riotous assembly' Tom Sharpe and God knows how many times I have read this book. A classical farce in every respect. I still read the first half in less than an hour as simply unputadownable, except for those moments one pisses oneself with laughing.
