What are you reading at the moment?

....I do not know if these books are in English but if so I recommend it. This writer is very good and his books are historical novel with a lot of research of historical facts.

There is another trilogy about Publio Cornelio Escipion and his rivalry with Anibal. Very good too, was with whom I discovered this writer, Santiago Posteguillo.

I'm unable to find any translations, which is a great pity.

It's been a few years since I read this book so I thought I would re read it. The grass arena by John Healy.
An autobiography describing his fifteen years living rough in London.
It's one of those books you find hard to put down, a real eye opener.

Recently finished the Girl in the Spiders Web by David Lagerkrantz that continues the Millennium Series by the late Stieg Larsson. Excellent.
Now reading And the Weak Suffer What They Must? By Yanis Varoufakis. Quite heavy for bedtime reading but very interesting and a comfortable read for what's pretty much an academic tome.

I've just finished Me Before You by Jojo Moyles. It's about a dynamic, successful bloke who becomes a quadraplegic after an accident and the woman who is employed as his carer.

Chick lit is not usually my thing (it was a book group pick) but it was actually quite good and a passable attempt at dealing with a difficult subject.

Spending 40 minutes on the bus to and from work has got me back into reading. Currently
