My BAD has taken hold again and I found myself ordering a Semouge 2000 Boar brush from the shave lounge.....nice looking brush! :)
Nice brush, I bought one recently, it is massive, takes at least 10-15 uses to start getting good results. I ordered a Vulfix 660 pure badger Medium size as I used to have a similar Vulfix in pure badger and I loved it and it was great but gave it to my brother. As a substitute I bought my self a Simpson Duke in Super badger but disappointed so hopefully 660 will be good.

Maggard black fiber synthetic knot, it's supposed to have a wee bit more backbone than the Plisson synthetic knot.

Pulled the trigger on this restored straight, which will be sent up to @Fergiebilly for honing when the time comes! :)

Edit: It's 6/8, looks fairly heavy ground and the manufacturer (Holley MFG Co., Lakeville, Connecticut) produced between 1844 and 1946, with most sales pre 1933. :)

There are so many good vintage razors out there that just need a little work, it's good to see them being used again. :)
