Bought this lot for the Leresche razor and I'm happy with the price paid just for that.

I know virtually nothing about straights but one is "Etoile", which was manufactured at the same place as my Prima so it's a nice little companion piece, and the other is apparently marked "Germania". I'll see how they clean up.
The box on the right is a "Heated metal curler" according to Google translate so may well just be for the bin and then there's a nice accordion mirror which may be a lovely bit of vintage French barbershop equipment or could well just be Chinese tat sold in the French equivalent of B&M.

Nothing shave-related, but I have treated myself to some of the usual 'Dad' staples associated with this time of year ...

Gammarelli socks
Zimmerli pants

Also increased my stock of Pantherella socks and Sunspel pants for work

AND ... got my finger hovering over the 'checkout' button for an Ettinger wallet (upgrade from my Mulberry) and Mont Blanc ballpoint pen (to replace my Parker Jotter for doing crosswords and stuff), so I have no doubt they will be on their way soon too
I have both Pantherella,Gammarelli and Mazarin knee length socks with the Pantherella my preference. How do you rate Zimmerli underwear considering their expense?

Picked up another vintage brush this weekend for sub-10 dollars shipped...
Maybe not so interesting visually...but it's a make and shape that I didn't already have...

Just ordered this one of the bay of E which looks quite nice and shiny (and you know how I like my Tech's) - though it was the case that attracted me to it.

I havent seen one with a lid like this before - quite "deco" looking

I picked up the same 6 weeks ago, a 1946 Tech set (validated by the manky 1947 Q1 Blue blade inside). Have to agree that the case is indeed classy

After a little bit of trial and error, I have finally settled on PermaSharps (modern) being a very good match for this razor as they up the ante in terms of overall aggression just the right amount.
