What made your day a crap one??

My post wasn't racist, have religious or political bearing. I didn't abuse any forum member or post a link the an ebay auction. It was in a forum topic that was relevant to the content of my post, topics subject "What made your day a crap one" is going to involve bad feelings on the side of the poster. My view is that this forum topic a way of venting off a little of those feelings without polluting the rest of the forum. So if you wander in here you should expect raw emotions just like you might expect bad language if you enter a pool hall perhaps?

I'd lost £12.07 to Royal Mail, a £300 estimate on a respray for the car and looking like £700+ on a new PC (if I can't fix this). I've not made a secret of my wife health and that we're (for the medium term) a 1 income family and so £1,000+ expenditure especially this close to the most expensive time for year is not welcome. It's fair to say that my mood was not one of highlights of 2016. It would be interesting to know if everyone would be devoid of emotion in this circumstances like some kind of DE obsessed Mr Spock?

But, despite posting in the correct place and observing rules I'm now expected to take advice on "How to be a Gentleman". To quote your guide:

"A gentleman doesn't make other people uncomfortable. Be focused more on being agreeable and making people feel comfortable than in proving that you're right and that the other person's opinions are worthless. You don't need to show someone up to impress women; what's far more impressive, in fact, will be your ability to get along with people."

Here's a lot of well wishes and hopes for things to turn around/up within short.
Always darkest before the dawn and all that :)

That quote...'A gentleman doesn't...', What a load of shite!

Take consolation Bezoar that with in excess of 1,000 posts and over 600 likes you are now one of ' the senior members ' and have joined the establishment. You may feel free to express opinions which differ from any perceived collective wisdom with a liberty you have, until now, restrained. Can't wait to see what you'll be like now you're off the leash !

Not sure if this is good or bad. Took the day off to take MrsB to the eye clinic but 5 mins before we leave the house they call and cancel.

Waste of a day off but at least I'm not at work so...
