Seeing the kids happy.

My daughter and her feisty side.

A good shave.

When people are unexpectedly compassionate, like the people who gave a whole trolley full of groceries at our recent foodbank collection.

Indeed, I will be happy when that happens too. They are bubble wrapped and taped in place so they have crush zones. They feel pretty secure.

Sitting on the sofa with my grandson eating sweets - and seeing the look of horror on his face when he realises I've taken the last few and there are none left for him. Priceless.
