What Watch Are You Wearing Today?

Not taken today but this is becoming a bit of a favourite wear.

I bet you wear it with pride, quite rightly so. :)

Yea but it is back at the watchmakers now. It went in for an overhaul/service keeping perfect time and when I got it back it started to run fast. The guy is supposed to be "Rolex Trained" so very disappointed. I have a six month guarantee on his work though so he will keep getting it returned until it is right.

My Grandad gave me loads of good stuff though: the sticky, the watch, Hammond organ and Leslie speaker!

@yakoumis and aclf101 In all seriousness that is a nice watch and very much like a "dirty dozen" WW2 Army issue like the Eternas, Granas, Omegas etc. If it looks good and does why job why pay a lot?

It was the dial design that caught my eye....I have seen similar only on one other watch but liked the clean design here. 'Custom' kinda answers that question!

And yes, there are many military issue watches with robust movements/simple designs that would give watches 5 times the price a run for their money.
