Thanks guys. Twas a very sudden end to a terminal cancer scenario, which in the process taught me about palliative sedation. Coming from a country where PAS/euthanasia is 'ok' I was very happy to find this was on offer so to speak, well as happy as one can be...
At least it's a chance to die with some dignity.
