Me too, as I am thinking about getting one. However, I will wait to see what SeanC says about splay/backbone and how it compares to the Tuxedo style.

YaQi has just released what they call Timber Wolf knots:
The Timber Wolf is the same as the Plisson. I have the Plisson style Yaqi and it is a fantastic brush.

After an overdose of wine, women and unfortunately work, its time for the 'Cashmere'...
A few key stats...
Handle Material: Resin
Handle Diameter: 38mm
Handle Height: 50mm
Knot Diameter: 24mm
Effective Loft: 56mm
Knot Type: 'Tuxedo' Synthetic
Weight: 83g
Cost: Approximately 11.00 GBP including postage
Delivery Time: 2 weeks
Ergonomics: Sits very comfortably in the hand. Chubby style, but not the point of being uncomfortable like some
Water Retention: Another Yaqi offering which doesn't dribble surplus water.
Backbone: A little less than the Yaqi Tuxedo, but more than a Plissoft. On a par with Muhle
Softness: A tiny more 'scratch' than the Cashmere or Plissoft, but nothing uncomfortable.
Yaqi made no branding claims about this knot, but it is widely reputed to be either the same as a 'Cashmere' or a clone of. The one thing I can say definitively, is that is not the same fibres / knot as the 24mm equivalent 'Tuxedo' in my possession.
Again water retention is excellent. Whether or not this is by accident or design I don't know, but Yaqi seem to have the nail on the head with this. The glue bump, like the 'Cashmere' is high at around 18mm up from the top of the handle. I may be wrong, but I suspect that this is the cause.
I've tried this brush on a variety of soaps from triple milled, through to croaps and it took everything in its stride. In short another excellent value piece of kit

I'm already on that slippery slope whilst they continue to produce interesting and good quality stuff
