Your best performing razor

Depends how I feel and what I see as my 'fad of the moment'. For overall end to end consistent results an R89 on a Colossus handle is a hard act to beat for me. May not be the closest, the best made or the most accurate, but it churns out one good shave after another.

Wide range of answers as would be expected from such an open question.
What strikes me though is just how many times the Rockwell razor comes up in people's top choices.
That's quite a feat for such a recently introduced and inexpensive (for an artisan) razor.
I've got to say it's up there at the top for me too.
Agreed, the Rockwell is very well designed. It seems to have a remarkable smoothness to it, without sacrificing too much efficiency and it achieved this balance better than a lot of razors.

I'm itching to buy one.

I actually had one when it first came out, never took it out the box....sold it on.
At the time, i thought it was an ugly razor!

But now all i hear are amazing things about it.

I bought one in order to try it out, and with a view to immediately selling it on. I also thought it was an ugly razor.

Unfortunately it performs far better than I imagined; hence I ended up keeping it!

Rockwell seem to have demonstrated that our mileage 'may not' vary.
