Your daily driver

Honestly, I do not have a 'Daily driver' I just look at my shelf and pick what I fancy from any of my razors. They all do the job. The nearest I get to one is my choice of holiday time razor. It has to be mild so I do not nick myself as it is the only time I shave every day. Currently it's the Hone 15a

Looking at getting a hone type razor. The black one.....apparently they are idiot proof [emoji1] and its hard to nick yourself or get razor burn.

I've had many daily drivers but for a short time. I don't tend to use the same razor every day. I pick one in the morning, based on how I feel and the amount of time I have. If I'm running late I'll pick something like the Merkur 34C or ATT S1. If time is not an issue I'll probably pick a SR but I might also go for the R41 or simply go with any less agresive razor together with a pot of fresh coffee and a bit of music, for a relaxing shave ;)
I shave every day and enjoyment of my shaves has the highest priority.
 
I have some really good shavers in my den and I used to rotate them, but as now I'm discovering the joys (and pains) of str8 shaving, I put my favourite DE's & SE's on hold until I master the art of cut throating.
I used to love shaving though with my brass general, V2 Claymore, the RX the OB, the Fatboy, Gillette RFB, the Rocnel half de blade razor and SE50, Maggards AV3 and above all these, the Rockwell 6S @6.
Long gone are the days when I was using one razor exclusively, namely the Gillette Sensor.

Just has to be an R89 , ATT Colossus handle and a Feather blade. I haven't really found much else which performs much better for me as a 'daily reach'. Otherwise it is much a case of whatever the flavour of the week is. Last week I took to the Ikon OC and loved it, but for the favouritism the R89 is never far away.
 
Don't have a large selection of razors but the regulars are

Merkur 1904 - when i want a quick shave or don't want to pay too much attention during a longer one

Pearl open comb - when I have more time or want a longer lasting shave

Both reliable and deliver BBS anytime I want. Can recommend both.
 
I don't have a daily driver. I'm currently working with a 12 razor rotation. The only razor I use everyday is a Rockwell 6 S on plate # 1. It is the only razor that allows me to go ATG on my neck.
