Synthetics don't bloom. They keep their original shape.
This. Sadly. And that's another reason why I don't quite like them.

I like to use my synthetics over my badger brushes as they're so much easier to look after, . . Rinse, flick and leave to dry.
...
The older brushes talked about in this thread are almost certainly the old nylon travel synthetic brushes that had the equivalent of fishing line for bristles. Those are...too scrubby, and are best used for dusting one's keyboard.
For the person who enjoys the feather touch of a silvertip, then synthetic brushes are a godsend, with similar face feel, but for people like me, we will never find satisfaction in using a synthetic, regardless of it's performance.
As an exclusive two band badger user, with the occasional boar night, I find synthetics too soft. The tips feel like velvet, when I want a more scrubby sensation.

I've haven't tried the tuxedo or the black fiber...the ones I have tried are variants of the plissoft style. Is the difference that great? There are several different syn. types that fill your bill. Perhaps you have not tried one which is understandable as the syn. "landscape" is confusing. The black fiber has "scrub". I use one every day. The tuxedo does as well, at least for me.
They can however "doughnut" after awhile.
