Torn as to whether to post this with the boardgames thread or here - since it combines the two :)

For those that get irritated by the tiles becoming misaligned when playing Carcassonne, in association with thingiverse.com & 3dhubs.com - 20 of these just landed on my doorstep...carcgrid.jpg
Stunned by the output - took a wee while longer than it should have done to arrive but the result is pretty damned fine.

It's about 6"/150mm square and it was ~£1/unit (I ordered quite a few) - most of the hubs charge on the basis of a setup fee per print and a volumetric charge (ie. amount of space occupied by the printed part) per piece. So this one is quite large in terms of occupied space, but most of that space is empty so the cost per unit is low.

Order 1 and the setup change is dominant - order 20 and the volumetric charge becomes dominant.

You can play around on 3dhubs - download the .STL file from Thingiverse and upload to 3dhubs, choose your material & printing resolution and it'll spit out prices. Choose a printer and talk to them - I went with the second one on my list because the first didn't sound entirely convincing in his replies.
