Rob, I think you'll have to try some Penhaligon's Castile! I found longevity very good... If you email they should send you a sample for the price of postage (that's what I did last year with hammam.)
I think the longevity problems you're having is due to the fact they are Cologne strength which is rarely any stronger than aftershave... Castile is an EdT
Sorted. I've got samples of Castile and Bayolea on the way.
Would I be able to guess what it is? A ‘Nilo' special? Old style bottle?Rob. Send me your address and I'll send you a mystery citrus sample... see what you think
Unfortunately, that's the biggest problem with citrus based frags Rob. If you want something that really lasts, then I'd suggest Acqua Viva by Profumum Roma. It has around 43% oil concentration I think, & lasts all friggin day. I sampled it a few years ago & it's a great frag, but pricey.I'm a big fan of ADP but I find the majority of their line have poor longevity and projector on me.
I'm looking for something very close to ADP Colonia but has a lot better performance.
BTW. I do have ADP Assoluta, which does perform better but still not great.
Your suggests will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Rob
I believe @MikeyJ had some of this up for sale a while back.Just remembered one other that a friend mentioned I should check out is Eau de Cedrat by L`Occitane

Other than that, have a look through Basenotes & Fragrantica to see if others have posted similar threads.
Unfortunately L'Occitane Eau de Cedrat doesn't smell like Cedrat .Just remembered one other that a friend mentioned I should check out is Eau de Cedrat by L`Occitane
Yes, but I think it's a long lasting citrus based frag.Unfortunately L'Occitane Eau de Cedrat doesn't smell like Cedrat .

Is it herbal?Mystery scent courtesy @Sid James Cheers Steve.
I've been wearing it for nearly two hours. It started off very citrusy but has dried down to something quite different. I can't pick it apart, it's way too complex for my amateur nose. I'm not even going try to guess what it is. Can you put me out of my misery Steve? I like it BTW.
