Going by the numbers it seems that standing has an advantage. However, notice with normal visual inspection where most of the water is situated on the hanging brush. It's the tips, not the knot.
You may have somthing there, I dry upside down for one day and upright for one day and all seems to be good. Anorak off! PIt's probably bollix but turning the brush up and down may affect it.
Yes, nail hit on head! P.We are talking moisture not liquid so doubt it is a big deal but sure to avoid any discussion weighing with stand would be best but then I need to use a stand not a hanger currently only got a crappy plastic stand with a closed back not in contention, will continue tests when I get my hands on a stand in this style even though I suspect hanging or standing is not the deal breaker: air is, air circulation, air temperature, air humidity...

Excellent point, the ventilation of a plastic stand is, in technical terminology, pants. We are talking moisture not liquid so doubt it is a big deal but sure to avoid any discussion weighing with stand would be best but then I need to use a stand not a hanger currently only got a crappy plastic stand with a closed back not in contention, will continue tests when I get my hands on a stand in this style even though I suspect hanging or standing is not the deal breaker: air is, air circulation, air temperature, air humidity...
