Just paid the princely sum of 50p for a little black rockwell blade bank I saw in a charity shop window. It has a little plastic seal on the bottom so I'll have to work out what to do with it when it's full.

I got a Muhle blade bank - liked the look of it, although on reflection it was a bit expensive - SWMBO did not object as it matches the tiles in the bathroom

I've just bought a stylish money box to drop used blades into:

And at some point in the distant future, I'll empty it into this:

And when I die my grandkids can chuck it into the recycling.

I just use an empty Mint sauce Jar and when full I drop it into a Sharps container at work. I get about 1 year per jar!

I use a soft drinks can for all my sharps, but I might have a go at printing that lid.

Have a look on eBay or local cheapo shops for these tin money boxes, various sizes, completely sealed, will hold loads of blades and not expensive either.

Greetings Everyone. May I ask for advice? What's your preferred method(s) of disposing DE blades that don't come in a plastic container, with the wee compartment to house used blades?
As you know, Polsilvers, Astras etc. come in cardboard boxes; so I thought I'd seek some guidance from experienced hands.

I use an old travel sweet tin - you know the round metal ones - it will hold hundreds of old blades and when it's full I take it to the recycling centre and put it in the appropriate skip. No good if you don't eat sweets mind.........

I couldn't decide what to do with my new pot of ToOBS Sandalwood shaving cream which I REALLY didn't like. I ended up spooning it down the bog, removing the stickers and washing it out and it's now a perfect pot for storing spent blades, should hold a few hundred I reckon .
