Active Pass Around: Fatboy

Thank you for considering me but since I signed up to this I bought a slim, an aristocrat #21 and tonight I bought my first straight. Even if I loved it I wouldn't be buying one so I feel like it's best I don't try it ;)

Fair enough. Although I tried the Fatboy twice, loved it and didn't buy one :D
Thinking about it, I only ever bought one razor I tried on a pass around and I have tried quite a few good ones.
 
I would love to take you up on that mate, but I've only been using safety razors the last couple of weeks, so maybe not on this occasion.

The Fatboy is back with me now - for the third time.
It has lost its (not original) plastic box and blades, but still seems to be in good condition.
I'll keep it until I can compare it with the Fatboy being passed around on ATG - shouldn't be too long.

I've now had a good chance to compare the ATG pass around Fatboy to ours.
The ATG Fatboy is better looking. It hasn't been on international pass-around duty since 2011.
The difference is not massive, but visible. But this is not a beauty contest after all.
Maybe I'll try and crowdfund a replate in 2021 for its 10-year pass around jubilee.
I tried both razors on various settings with various blades, even a side-by-side shave.
There is not the slightest difference in shaves. They are exactly the same. Both are great razors.
I have PM'd @Eurofighter - the eternal pass around continues.
