A very interesting razor to use, one side is aggressive and the other mild as indicated by the +/- on the cap. With that in mind I shaved my left side with + and my right with -. Gods honest truth I can tell no difference between them, there may be a slight difference in feel but it isn't anything too noticable, not like an R89 one side and R41 the other. A very comfortable shave, I did notice the blade is a tight fit on the middle post, as compared to a No17, but once you get the cap complete and screw it in it fits perfects when you hear the slight manipulation of the blade. My next use will be with a NOS Gibbs blade, they look in perfect condition.
The new soap from @OSP's sister company was wonderful, loaded for about 20-30 seconds and in truth that was far too long and loaded a plentiful amount of soap. Used a decent amount of water and got a thick, creamy and slick lather. The scent is very nice, doesn't seem as sweet as Trumpers Coconut Oil shaving cream and in the interests of science I had a Bounty too for scent analysis . If you're wanting Hawaiian Tropics coconut this isn't for you. I really liked it and I could see this getting regular use throughout the Summer, these new soaps get a thumbs up from me. Looking forward to Kyoto.
