What is a Injector razor?
Thank you.A razor that uses single or double edge blades inserted from a magazine of blades. A key from the magazine (or cartridge, if you prefer) is inserted in the side of the razor. The mechanism is used by hand to ‘inject' the new razor. As it slides into place, the new blade pushes out the one being replaced.

I need to try these blades in my E type Schick. They are picking up good reviews.Read the Thread on Schick Proline B-20 AC blades, which are v.good and work well in an Injector.
Not with their injector they didn't .Proto-cartridge
Gillette did the sensible thing and encased the blade in plastic.
And then ruined it by adding a pivot.Proto-cartridge

Nothing wrong with pivots as such. And then ruined it by adding a pivot.
To me pivot = pressure required.Nothing wrong with pivots as such.
The Personna Floating Head Injector with a pivot is a razor I really want to try.
Pivots encourage pressure, but in reality very little pressure is required. For example, I use my Gillette Fusion with no pressure, as if it didn't have a pivot, but the pivot still kicks in and gives great shaves. It's still a very boring razor. I wish I had the battery powered version for a bit more entertainment. Actually, I don't.To me pivot = pressure required.
A habit I thought I'd broken until I tried a Bakelite razor and one which I have now thankfully kicked for good.
I have a Neo II which I used for a very quick shave until I discovered injectors.Pivots encourage pressure, but in reality very little pressure is required.
