Blade life of GEM ss blades

Questions for all the SE shavers on the forum:

How many shaves do you get from GEM ss blades?

How about for other SE blades?

I use the standard GEM SE blades from Connought Shaving in my Ever Ready SE razor. I get about 5-6 goes with it, about double for a DE blade.

3 or 4 good shaves (could maybe even stretch 5) with GEMs, they're the only ones I've used.

I change both after 4 shaves.

3 with Feathers, less with some other DEs.

4 to 5 with Gem SE. Not tried any other SEs. Usually get 3 with most DEs but some blades about £5 a packet can give me 5.

Depending on your beard type..the more coarse the quicker to be done with a blade..I get max 2-3 shaves with 4 passes..then to the bin
