the shick injector, gem, ever ready single edge razors always used a head that kept the blade corners covered from the users face. safety and all.
Most Gillette patents predating 1927 all have 4 small corner projections on the top plate that covers the 4 corners of the first rectangular blades. My question is why dd they stop doing that small feature?
Sure the rounded off blade corners help with that, but its a nice touch. Now im just on a search for a razor with that type of top plate
