For the people who don't have, or aren't allowed to use the bathroom cabinet to put all their gear in, what do you use?

At the moment, and I'm tempted not to post this, I use one of these...

It's just big enough, and I like the hinged drawer on top. Has anyone seen a more, erm, grown up orientated bathroom box like this?

You'll need an upgrade before long I suggest something like this.

I just use a draw in the bedroom, for any overspill from the bathroom.

I would completely agree with both of these. However, her indoors wouldn't, and I don't fancy keeping all my stuff in the shed.

I'll tell you what I want, what I really, really want: a standard issue Navy ditty box. They're 12"x8"x6", made of plain softwood and furnished with a single tray. Not pretty, not nearly big enough to put everything in, but ideal to store the pile of scrap iron high quality vintage straights which currently live in a cardboard box under the bed. I could make one in a trice, but somehow that's not the point.

These are quite good from fleabay for razors that you don't have a box for, you just adjust the dividers and I lines the bottom of each with bubble wrap. This allows me to see them all and select one, it is also very good as a brush store (most boxes of Simpsons size fit so I stick a label on top of the box and I can store them in a similar way where I can see what I have and get to it easily.

Does the job well.
