The CF Cedarwood isn't a very pleasant smell. I know it's personal but it doesn't get a good rep... Personally I think the CF Lavender is the best CF by a country mile

Art of Shaving sandalwood all the way and the balm is quality. This is more of an actual sandalwood scent than any others I've tried.

Funnily enough I have just discovered the T & H Lavender. I like it lots. I must have a thing for "floral" scents, my last T & H cream was Rose.

I like the C&F Lime a lot but never been a fan of Lavender scents personally (I find them sickly for some reason).
However, for a similarly floral scent I really like Trumper's Violet cream - it's an outstanding performer too.

I said I'd get the T&H lavender as well and I did. After two days here's my verdict: The Castle Forbes is classy and performs like nothing else. The T&H smells like my childhood (still not sure which part of it) and performs OK even with Hard London water. They are both keepers.
