I generally take a wry view of remakes of classics I have loved, but I've got to admit that this one looks promising. Quite a cast! Think I'll make the effort to go and see this...

Really looking forward to it. I do have a massive man crush on Bill Nighy though.

I really hope this lives up to the hype, it will need to be outstanding to top the TV series.

I'm not expecting it to top the series, but I'm hoping that it works and carries on the marque without cheapening it.

The "Making of" show was a great watch...

Judging by the cast, I'd imagine it could be nothing less than a respectful 'homage' to the original. It is Toby Jones as Mainwairing that really appeals. Then you have Nighy, Gambon...the list goes on.

I'm a massive fan of British films and I'm hoping it can stand proudly beside the original show. Casting is one of the most critical elements in the success of a show and this is very promising given the actors.
