I have a travel brush that I use for odd nights or weekends away, it's a little "own brand" TOBS pure badger, picked up cheapish (just under 20 quid) in their New Year sale. It's only about 80mm tall altogether with a 40mm loft, fitted with an imitation ivory (i.e. cream plastic) handle, and it sits in an imitation ivory travel tube.
Now just recently I've been on the move for 2 full weeks for work, moving on every 2 days. Those weeks seem to have made me a fan of the presicion that smaller brushes bring to the party, and I appear to have fallen for this sort of brush very much. It's a lot easier to lather around the nose and ears / sideburn area, and I like the "scrubby" feel when face lathering. I also like the fact that it doesn't hog all the lather if I choose to bowl lather, and that some of it actually stays in the bowl. I'm actually avoiding using my "big" brushes now I'm home, my Jagger just eats soap like it's going out of fashion..
So do we have other small brush fans here? And if I fancy a new "smaller" brush, do people have favourites?
It also raises the question in my mind, does a travel brush necessarily have to be for travelling, or can it fit into your everyday routine?
A tenner for the first reply to mention the wee scot.
As much as I think that seems almost too tiny, thoughts are very welcome.
