Eleven Shaves - One Gem Blade

Don't know if it's a special blade (out of a pack of 100 Connaughts Gem) - unlikely; or the Somersets Oil I've just started using but 11 shaves and could get another.

I normally get 4 shaves max, have wire brush bristles and alter[/align]nate between hot/cold shaves. I've always used oil as a pre-shave but saw this Somersets for 99p and decided to give it a go.

Oh and I should mention I get the smoothest shave I've had since I dropped the cartridge some three years or so ago.

Interesting.......I saw Somerset's Shaving Oil in my local Chemist for the first time the other day.......The makers are claiming a bottle of oil in a dispenser smaller than most super glue dispensers will give you 90 shaves......MMMMMMMMmmmmm........

My friend shaves with HEMP OIL and he says his blade lasts 3 or 4 times longer than before.........:icon_razz:

11? Wow! I got 6 shaves out of a FEATHER the other day ... all as good as the first. Must be something in the water

I'm on shave 6 with a English wilky not sure to attempt no 7? Normally get 4 tops from a blade.

I generally get 8 to 10 from a Gem
