Floid "Amber" Aftershave

Waiting for some Floid Amber coming from Maguires Barbershop and wondered what people's opinion is of it?

I have read it is a sweet, powdery scent with menthol.

I have it, it's quite strong initially, definitely a bracing rather than soothing feeling but a really pleasant scent. I'd love to get a cologne with the same fragrance.

Not keen, extremely powdery to the point where it reminds me of old WI branch ladies. I have a large bottle nearly full if anyone wants it, pay my postage and it's yours.

Hi there,

Years ago I went through an amber phase and you're right about that note also often having a powdery or sweet thing mixed in. I found a few that were right for me....neither having those other notes getting in the way.

Not to enable you in the least, but if you really like a straight ahead, deep, masculine amber, maybe try the Tom Ford Amber Absolute EdP. Very intense, and the scent lasts for many hours.

Best thing's to try a small decant if possible. Oh yeah, it's very expensive.....heh.
