Fountain pen/ink starter kit

None of that pedestrian 'opening up your pen' to get to the converter

No way! I hate H's. Can't get them to look anything else than a ladder shape. M's are great. I just do a capital-sized lower-case letter M. I've attached a scan of my writing, hopefully you can view it (PhotoBucket seems to be having a wobble at the moment)

Working on my H (any piece of paper from trash will do)

Man, you both have really good hand writing.
Going to sit down with a glass of whiskey tonight and play around with a couple of fountain pens and do some journal writing.
One benefit over razors: I can use my pens 10 times/day

Computer fonts are very good at fancying-up capitals with flourishes and phu-phus! Actually, your 'H's look rather good in italics!
