Good first razor?

So the same head for them all? I had wondered if that was the case. Still, perfectly happy with the one I got. I think the 89l has a longer handle too - it was the model I ordered but I received the 89. I couldn't wait for a return to be processed so just stuck with what had arrived :)
 
I started with the Boots razor and then bought a Jagger and a 34C at the same time. In retrospect I think the Jagger was the better choice at that stage, though both are excellent razors. A friend of mine is interested in beginning DE, and I'm going to give him the Jagger to start on.
 
A lot of good answers and one from a few month old DE razor user would be a Timor TTC. Nice and fairly none aggressive IMHO.
I bow down to all other contributions as I am but a young grasshopper.
Just paid for Fatboy so will let you know how they vary.
