A restauranteur friend spotted this bargain from Sainsburys...find the "Rump" roasting joint not Silver or Topside. At this price depending
on the size you could easily cut 7 to 10 thick Rump steaks for less than a pound a piece, after a BBQ last night its some of the best mass produced flesh I've tasted in quite a while.

nice tip Tony

we have a lad at work who does a butchers run every month and last time we got Cumberland sausage with Black pudding in it

yum-yum :D

My local butcher does the Lorne with Black Pudding in it and it is absolutely delicious. I rarely eat it but am very picky about where I buy it from when I do. Never ever Tescos or any high street retailer (I did try it and it is not nice), only ever buy it from a good local butcher.

Even if he does not make it usually will be the good stuff, we save the crap stuff for the hotels.
