Help identifying razor

Don't see the bottom of the base plate on the head but it looks Gillette . And looks like the 'new improved' 2nd generation Gillette. If you could do more photo it may help.
 
It's a knockoff of (probably) a Gillette Old head with a what looks like a New handle - if the handle and head separate then it's quite possibly a real Gillette handle (ie. you have a frankenrazor), if not it's a clone - how good it is, you will only find out by applying it to your fizzer.
 
I thought the handle looked like a NEW, but the head was throwing me. Hopefully it is a gillette OLD but if not then it was only a few quid off eBay, I will try it on my fizzer in due course. Thanks
 
Thinking about it how will I know if it is genuine or a clone? Presumably I look for the Gillette logo? Is there anything else? Patent numbers?
