Is this a fake Gillette Slim Twist?

I have tried to Google but couldn't find any reference to a "purple" handled Gillette Slim twist razor. I can see only white handled ones and furthermore the Gillette stamp is not inside a diamond logo which was their trademark.

Makes me think is this a fake?

Most older Gillette razors were never really expensive enough in their day to make it worthwhile to do good fakes. There are many copies under other names, but fakes are virtually unseen. I can't remember seeing one in person at all.

There are a lot of copies of Old types but this Slim has the seventies Gillette logo in place and looks good to me. No diamond in the logo then.

Plenty of "cool" 70s colours out there on the G= SlimTwists - purple, orange, avocado, blue,... - and black & white for the stick-in-the-muds.
