Keeping lather warm

I've started using a new shaving soap today and realised that a whole puck does not warm through that well, resulting in a cold shave. So the solution is to cut a small slice off the puck and place that at the bottom of the warmed bowl. The rest of the soap can be kept in its container until the next slice, and this helps to keep it fresh.

This method probably works better for synthetic brush users because the heat is retained via the bowl and soap, not the brush.

The lather was otherwise pretty good.

I used to try to keep my lather warm in a bowl but in the end decided it was just as easy to dip the loaded brush into the warm water in the sink, probably just my laziness to be honest.
