Anyone had issues with this?

Was away from home last night and put this in my bag as it is very small to carry and saves taking a lump of soap and a brush, or so I thought.
I got a surprisingly decent lather out of it and decent coverage, about half a minute into the shave I started to get the most intense tingling sensation. Rather like an extreme menthol type feel. Only this carried on getting worse.
Another 30 seconds later it felt like a terrible burning and I couldn't continue, had to wash it all off, no redness or anything like that but the burning continued for a good 10 minutes after.
Never had any problems with bad reactions before so was very surprised, especially as I've used quite a few of Kents products without issue.
Anyone else had anything similar? It really was very unpleasant.
