Mr.Taylor luxury Aftershave balm

Found a small shop yesterday with this balm (with witch hazel) selling it very cheaply. It was like they had been offered a job lot. Anyhow was worth a punt and tried a bit. It smells expensive and the packaging looks right but the feel of it has small "grit" like bits. Similar to a very gentle facial scrub.
Anyone use this regularly or know if this is how it should feel?

It's supposed to be a smooth clear gel, no bits.

Probably been sitting on there self a bit too long.

I've been using this pretty much exclusively since about September.

It works really well and smells great (as does the cream but the Cologne smells nothing like either) however I find that I need to over apply the product as it breaks down really quick.

I bought mine direct from TOBS.

Well i know somewhere that you can get it for less than a third of the price andy ... and may or may not contain free facial scrub bits
if you want , pm an address and i'll send a tube up so you can compare. Mine may have been a bad tube
