Looking into getting a badger brush over my synthetic one.

I like this one....

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.theenglishshavingcompany.com/cgi-bin/psProdDet.cgi/81SB356%7C%7C@cEdwin%20Jagger%20Pure%20badger%20shaving%20brushes@b%7C0%7Cuser%7C%7C10%7C">http://www.theenglishshavingcompany.com ... 7C%7C10%7C</a><!-- m -->

But I have no idea of the difference between best and pure (them 2 are in my price range)

Thanks

For that price i would go for this Brush, i have a Simpsons Berkeley 46 in best badger, and it's a really nice brush....simpsons "Best" badger hair is considered very good quality...

Or if you can add a few more quid why not buy a new forrest? :shave

totally agree, Peters brushes are awsome, they perform as well as brushes three times the price.......

if you can stretch to one,....your face will thank you for it each morning :D :D

Not including the time you threatened to leave (sigh) that's the most sensible thing you've ever said. :lol:

You seriously have to look past the £20 - £30 price range for badger as there isn't a great deal of value there, save some money and as James said get a New Forest or commission a brush for around £50. Either that or get a 404 mix until your ready.

Cheers for the replies.

I currently use the man-u brush as I had no idea about this new (to me) shaving world.

It dies the job, feels a but rough on my face though!

I will keep saving for now I think.
