I'm looking for a restoration company to replate one or two razors.
Can anyone recomend someone in the UK?
Don't want to spend more than about £15-£20 per razor.
Any suggestions?
The only one I've found is Restoredrazors.com.
 
It's the only one I'm aware of in the UK. However Dave is very good, and I don't know that I've ever read anything bad about him.

I believe it's £20 for a replate from him, plus postage.
 
I've got a Fat Boy with Dave at the moment. Never used him before but all I've heard of his work is very good so I can't wait to see the result when I get it back.
 
If you met him and spoke to him you would see what a great lad he is Dave from safety razors... Top bloke
 
I'll chip in, having had a 45 year old Slim Adjustable replated earlier this year. I have four DEs, and I defy anyone to pick out the Slim as being the oldest of them in a line-up.

Very reasonably priced too.
 
I'm suitable impressed.
Droppped him an email, just need to hear back about getting the work under way and sending etc.
 
Does anyone know Dave from Razor Restoration? I've tried email and phone without success.
I just want to check some things before I send anything off ie turn around time and what can an can't be done.
