Repair of DE razor

Some time ago I bought a 1962 Gillette Adjustable de razor.
Yes, I read the cool thing is to have a vintage from your birthyear

Well, in any case its not in working condition, now the question is
can it be repaired (I will eventually have it replated - if I can get it in
condition).

Please check out the picture and let me know. I'm a big boy
I can take it :-/

I don't know about the repair, but what handle do you need ?

I have a head from a Rooney faux ivory and a parker head.
Didn't really consider what handle I want, so I guess Im open
for ideas/inspiration.

The space (the blade/comb opening ?) is 2mm (guess) wider on the left.
