Shaving products in France

Pasties.
As I'll be heroically throwing myself down mountains a perilous speed next week over in France I thought I'd look for recommendations for shaving products to get while I'm over there.

Anything worth getting, bearing in mind that I'll probably have access to airport terminals and high altitude supermarkets?

Cheers.

I've lived in places where shops in vans were invaluable. FrenchBlade on this forum has only added to it in many many ways. If his interest in this forum were to sell stuff......well, he can pull his van down the end of my street any time.
A dummy, 20 fags, a bottle of milk and a loaf of bread please. And no laughing emoticon.

Cubert,

Flying or driving? If you're flying, you're limited to weight, but you should be able to get some stuff into you luggage :D
I'd advice you to go to Auchan, Carrefour, Intermarche, Casino.. The cheapest is probably Auchan.
If you're driving, and have some space in the car, I'm sure you'll find takers for the above mentioned products.
(and will save people some cash as I keep sending stuff!)

Depending on what part of france you're going, you might actually be able to find some Plisson.
If not, the "Maison du Barbier" available in above mentioned supermarket, is supposed to be rebranded Plisson.
(I have not tried it myself, but I sent a puck to UH last week, ask him how it shaves)

The Monsavon is great stuff, and cheap as chips :D

And Sharon, if ever I drive my van across the channel, I'll bring you those groceries :D

There's a euphemism in there somewhere, I'm sure of it :ugeek:

I'll have a look for everything mentioned, hopefully be able to bring a bit back. There's always a few generic supermarkets in the ski resorts.

Wer're staying in La Rosiere, so I'll also have the chance to ski over the border and down to La Thuile in Italy, so I'll have a gander round there.

Now that you say that....I'ld just like to clarify that when I lived in places where van shops were invaluable, those were my most frequently purchased items. THERE IS NO EUPHEMISM!
