My Artisinal April & Birthday Shave today consisted of...
Prep Aleppo soap.
Brush Highlander LE2023 Boar.
Soap Stirling Black Ice.
Razor Gillette Slim Twist (Birth year razor).
Blade Nacet.
Aftershave Stirling Black Ice.

Today is my Birthday woohoo 16 today :D
I treated myself to a lovely shave using my Birth year Gillette and it didn't disappoint.
This razor you can shave with twice a day and it would still not break the skin.
The Black Ice was a Birthday present from the wife and I was a little disappointed with the lack of chill but I am putting it down to the tub being new and the chill is a bit further down the tub.
That being said the splash was great and hit the spot big time, if the soap eventually gives the same effect as I start using it then I will be a very happy chappie.
Right now off to get spoilt by the family and all that's left to be said is enjoy the day everyone.

A most happy of those birthday things to you. Have some Japanese ladies as a present. Complete with their dildo waving fans...

'Not quite Escort material my love'

I aways look forward to your posts. The wife and I enjoy them immensely.

My wife has a degree in English, a Masters in creative English and half way to a Phd in dyslexia. She is a very exacting person when it comes down to written English.

If she read my posts and learnt what utter garbage I write on here I'd be looking for a good divorce solicitor first thing Monday morning. As it is, I don't let her read my posts and I still get to peruse her photos in the readers wives section of my 1980's Mayfair magazines hiding under the living room carpet.

And my shave? Perfect all the way and at least I got to shave a Brazilian this evening. I do look a bit strange, but might make the 'Readers husbands' in Playgirl. Otherwise a superbly smoothly delivered and very fine shave indeed. As the weather seems to be picking up(?) it is nice to bring the lighter scents in to the mix.

Wish you all a wonderful weekend and it doesn't take much for me to say 'I love you all' and sign off with those Puffyshoes girls....

Small change, shave
EFC3A388-5478-467B-9D0A-B1DA89998FAC.jpeg
Prep - hot shower, lather face wash
Bowl - DSCosmetic green bowl
Cream - Palmolive Classic
Brush - Yaqi Sagrada Familia 22mm
Razor - Merkur 34C
Blade - Gillette 7o’clock Permasharp Stainless (2)
Post - lather remains face wash, cold rinse, Care+ witch hazel
Splash - Forest Fresh ASL
Balm - Nivea Sensitive Cool PSB
Fragrance - G.Bellini Homme EDP

Recent shaves have almost entirely been with my wonderful Muhle, but I have other good razors and should be utilising them. So thought I’d start small. The Merkur 34C is so small and light compared to others that it felt vaguely toylike whizzing around my face. But it was very efficient, and worked well with Palmolive and the little Yaqi brush. Got some witch hazel to use as a milder alternative to alum and it seems to be ok. All finished off with the usual lotions and a small amount of EDP for a change. Excellent outcome, very happy!

I can be small too, look!
Yes, very neat, but not so sure about small.
Bit rude!
