I would like to take this opportunity to say thanks to Neil Miller for the lovely restoration work that he carried out on one of my razors the Iron Duke, so the best way to say thanks would be to post a few photo's so here we go.

Wow, I´m flabergasted, what a lovely blade! Neil´s da man! He can do crazy nice things, some of his early 19th/late 18th century restores are wonderful and he can bring back scales you think´re goners long time ago. He´s really good.

There was a picture on a previous thread, but it seems to have been lost in the move, temporarily maybe. As I recall there was some light corrosion and the goldwash was tired and a bit patchy. Neil's definitely done the gold work, which is nice to see because he had trouble with the plating set up earlier this year, none of which was his fault.
