A new series just started on BBC1 Wales The Welsh Italians many of the people including the presenter are from my hometown of Merthyr Tydfil I know many of them a series I think most will find of interest.

That's correct Rob the Taffia, the Italian families play a big role within the south Wales valleys good people to work for and great friends for sure, the two ex Welsh Rugby international Robert & Peter Sodoli are both Merthyr Boys, and many are married to Welsh men and Women but still retain their a lot of their Italian culture which makes for a great mix.

I guess that Joe Calzaghe has a pretty strong Italian heritage too
