treet dura sharp

just used a dura sharp (the carbon steel ones) tonight for the first time, and im mightily impressed... a smooth irritation free shave. is anyone else a fan of these? or any opinions in general?

Yeah I've always got on well with them. I prefer the Carbon's though "Black Beauties" not many fans of those about though.

Yes, one of my favorites too, only topped by Feather Crow.

Interesting...the treet durasharp is a blade I really didn't get on with. I found it quite rough and got a fair few nicks.

Carbon is not for every one. For me it works very well.

Indeed - I'm always amazed by how opinions of a blade can vary so wildly - I can't think of another example of an item, barring food/drink, that tends to be as polarised.
