Personally I wouldn't use it, because of the fact that it has been used. But since that doesn't seem to phase you, just give it a go - you'll soon find out if it isn't usable!

Go for it. All the ones I have encountered in bakelite tubes from the fleabay have smelt suspect, like nothing I'd want to put on my face. If they had been more appealing I'd have done it.
Soap is clean... right.

Maybe you could cut away the outside and discard, then keep the inner core of the soap. That should be okay to use.

I used a 1960s Yardley soap. Great stuff!
