I've been thinking for some time that I'd like to get a new watch - naturally there are some things I want in it to help narrow it down a bit :icon_razz:

Budget: £sub 150
Automatic
Dark wristband (metal, rubber, plastic doesn't matter)
New/NOS/Used are all acceptable

Main thing apart from that is this - due to age my arms are getting too short for me to get the date window in focus :icon_cry2: so a larger date window would be great.

Over to you guys

Excellent company to deal with and great prices. As for the watch Seiko make great auto's. The 007 is widely appreciated both here and in watch collector circles.

Not so large on the date bit though !

Another endorsement for creation watches.

I bought this one:

Brilliant prices there. I'm not ashamed to say that Seiko are my favourite watch brand but those are cheaper by some margin, than I've ever seen elsewhere.

Don't be put off with Creation being Singapore based. They use DHL which is actually very good as you can track it as it comes along through Germany and on to the UK. They usually take 5-7 days.

The watches don't come in their original boxes but who needs a box when it's always on your wrist ? Also the instructions aren't original. I did a lot of investigation after they were recommended to me. They are totally original not fakes. I did see a case where someone had one stuck in France where the French customs declared it a fake. Only for Creation and Seiko to prove them wrong. I also found that Seiko even honoured the warranty on one that needed work on it.

Many of the watches are either hard to get a hold of in the UK or simply not available here.
